Limited number of tickets will be available for sale Saturday morning for the re-enactment.
Plan to arrive before noon - station opens at 9 am.
Perry Street Station will become a WWII encampment for both forces with displays of uniforms,
weapons and vehicles from the era. The station will be open from 9 am to 4:30 pm on Saturday,
so come early to allow plenty of time to view the encampment and exhibits before train leaves.
The train ride and accompanying battle will give you a small feeling of wartime in Nazi Germany.
Aboard train will be German soldiers transporting prisoners of war as they head deeper into Germany. Onboard with the Allied prisoners is a spy, who informed the acting officer of an escape plan. The
99th Infantry Division's lead units are aware of the plan and are getting into position to capture
the train and free the prisoners. A battle will ensue at Rynd Farm Station.
Hosted by the 99th Infantry Division Historical Society Inc from Erie, PA.
***Join us that evening for a 1940 era dance, hosted by and held at our local VFW Post 5958
